This is a brief summery to His Illustrious Highness, the Count Adam Nicholas Schemanoff, BSc (Hons), FdSc rights to use his chosen titles and style of address.

While His Illustrious Highness holds a number of noble titles he has adopted his Imperial Russian Count's style of address, His Illustrious Highness.

The right to use the title of Count of Imperial Russia comes from the right of cascading nobility as second son to His Excellency, the Serene Prince Nicholas John Schemanoff. This is an hereditary title passed down through the Schemanoff line which can be traced back to a 1565, in Crimea, to a Prince Yanbulatov Shemanov, who was a decent from the line of Genghis Khan, Khagan of the Mongol Empire. This makes the Shemanov and later Schemanoff lines of royal blood.

His Illustrious Highness is eligibility to use the Imperial Russian Court style of His High Ancestry. This style of address is dictated by his ancestral right to hold an imperial noble grade of five. This grading comes through the rights of cascading noble privileges awarded to His Illustrious Highness's great grandfather, His Excellency, Major-General, Serene Prince Nicholas Z. Schemanoff, due to his military service to the Russian Empire.

In 1917 during the October Revolution the Communist movement declared an end to the nobility of Russia during a period when they did not hold a controlling percentage of the country. This announcement was never repeated after the Communised took control of the country. When the announcement was made there was still a ruling Tsar and so the international community and courts have ruled that the proclamation was in fact illegal and that all noble titles related to Imperial Russia still stand.

His Illustrious Highness also holds a Count title in his own right within the Grand Duchy of Pomerania and Livonia. This was prominently bestowed upon him by His Imperial Majesty, Prince Ludwig of Pomerania and Livonia. The title was bestowed upon His Illustrious Highness, by His Imperial Majesty, under the laws of Fons Honorum, in recognition of His Illustrious Highness's noble blood line.

The noble roots of His Illustrious Highness are clearly fined within his surname as is indicated by the “off” and not “ov” as a postfix to the Schemanoff surname. This appendage to a surname within The Russian Empire was only bestowed to members of the Imperial Russian nobility.

A full list of noble titles currently maintained by His Illustrious Highness are as follows:-

An additional honorary title of Honorary Captain of the Jaegers of Pomerania and Livonia is also held by His Illustrious Highness.

In addition to these titles of nobility His Illustrious Highness holds two academic appendages to his name, BSc (Hons) and FdSc, these are in reference to the below academic qualifications:-

The Schemanoff dynasty and it's right to access noble privilege and title has been recognised through history over a number of different country's and time periods. While the Schemanoff line is a form of cascading nobility it does have a second ancient caveat around it dating back to the creation of the Khan title within the Kingdom of Crimea. The surname Schemanoff and so associated titles may only be bestowed upon members of the family by the head of the family, in this case being His Serene Highness, the Prince Nicholas John Schemanoff. The right to use the Schemanoff name and title is not absolute from birht and needs to be ratified by the head of the family. His Illsutrious Highness's right to name and title where acknowledged bu the head of the Schemanoff line upon His Illsutrious Highness's birth.

The title of Count is equivalent to an Earl within the United Kingdom therefore while it is not completely accurate it is expectable to use the honorary style of address of Lord as you would address an Earl.

While His High Ancestry has chosen to use his Count's style of address however it is also appropriate to address him in the following ways:-
